Family Therapy: Supporting Family Relationships and Strengthening Resilience
Family therapy helps family members understand one another better, encourages collaborative communication, and supports finding solutions to recurring challenges. In therapy, every family member has a voice and space, allowing the family to work together towards a more supportive and secure family system. A safe therapeutic environment makes it possible to express difficult emotions, explore each other’s experiences and perspectives, and become more aware of both personal and shared needs. Family therapy helps identify existing family resources, supports the development of new ways of relating, and creates opportunities to improve relationships. Walking this path together makes change possible.
Couples Therapy: Reconnecting and Deepening Intimacy
Couples therapy supports closeness, helps restore understanding, and strengthens a sense of safety within the relationship. During sessions, we explore how to listen to one another more attentively, express needs clearly, and find new ways of relating and moving forward together. Couples therapy helps identify patterns that contribute to difficulties in the relationship and supports finding paths towards a connection that meets both partners’ needs.
Therapy provides space to work with all issues that affect the relationship, including lack of intimacy, communication difficulties, tension and conflict, jealousy, affairs, or concerns related to sexuality. Whether the relationship is in crisis or you simply wish to feel closer to one another, every step matters.
Psychological Counselling: Clarity, Balance, and Emotional Wellbeing
Psychological counselling offers a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether your concerns relate to stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, complex decisions, or life changes, we work together to find clarity and a greater sense of wellbeing. Counselling can be helpful if you are worried about your own or a family member’s mental health, are experiencing conflict within the family, at work, or with friends, or if feelings of loneliness, low mood, or constant worry have become part of everyday life. Also when you need guidance with career-related challenges or are experiencing, or at risk of, burnout. Each session is a step towards greater inner balance and a more conscious way of living.
Parenting Counselling: Building Trust and Better Cooperation with Your Child
The role of a parent brings with it many challenges. Parenting counselling supports understanding a child’s needs and helps improve the relationship between parent and child. In sessions, we explore ways of communicating with your child that are in line with their developmental stage. When appropriate, I use the “Let’s Talk About Children” interview format, which helps to view the child’s situation more holistically – including both strengths and challenges. Parenting counselling is often sought in relation to a child’s behaviour or coping, and it is also helpful during periods of major family change that a child may find difficult to manage. We can also address communication skills such as listening to your child, setting clear and respectful boundaries as a parent, and resolving conflicts. Together, we will find a path towards greater calm, stability, and more supportive relationships.
Trainings and lectures: mental health and communication skills (in Estonian)
I offer training sessions and lectures on a range of mental health and communication topics, including: self-care and mental wellbeing; creating empowering and supportive work environments; communication as a learnable skill; listening skills; clear self-expression and assertive communication; conflict and conflict resolution; giving feedback – why it matters and how to do it well; stress and stress management; and burnout prevention.
I am the trainer of Gordon Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.) – a practical course for parents who wish to develop their communication skills in order to better understand and support their children. The training focuses on active listening, clear self-expression, assertiveness, and conflict resolution. The aim is to help parents build stronger connections with their children, manage everyday communication challenges, and resolve problems in ways that protect relationships rather than relying on power or control.
